when i was little, every single time i went past a liquor store i wondered why they advertised "spirits"

"if it's haunted" i thought "why would a person want to go in there?"

but now when i go past a liquor store i don't see these things, and i wish sometimes that i was still five and enjoying my silly little discoveries i thought the rest of the world was oblivious to

i can't decide whether i was more aware then or now. all i know is somethig has changed
